A month ago, on October 13, we had our Parent Teacher Conference where our LFs discussed the upcoming activities for Quarter 2 and reminders for their parents and guardians. The topics they discussed were academic updates on the IPBA and OA, Teachers Day, Foundation Day, Little Ms. and Mr., the end of the quarter, Branch Field Trip, the attendance of students and, the concessionaire. The LFs reminded the parents of what tasks needed to be completed and gave them a quick overview of what was to come in Quarter 2.
In Quarter 2 there are many major events happening but to start off simple the third club day will be November 18. So remember to finish up your projects and get ready to see your clubmates. But before that, November 17 will be the release of the Q1 Progress Report, otherwise known as your Report Card, for the people who haven’t gotten used to the APEC terms yet. On the same day will be our Literary Day Celebration.
November 20 to 24 will be our Mental Health Awareness Week where we will bring awareness to students’ mental health. November 27 will be Bonifacio Day, a national Holiday celebrating Andres Bonifacio, a national hero. He was one of the founders of the secret revolutionary group Katipunan or the shorter version, the KKK.
In December we also have some events besides the Christmas Party and Christmas Break. December 8 is the Immaculate Conception and a non-working holiday with no classes. December 9 will be our fourth club day and on the 15th will be APEC New Manila’s Field Trip to Shercon Resort and Ecology Park. December 20 will be the Student Christmas Party and 21 will be the Start of Christmas Break.
