CLEAR EXPECTATIONS
Privacy & submissions.
How this website handles reading preferences and messages sent to the editorial team.
Reading Amplify
You can read public stories without an account. Saved stories and your color-theme preference are stored in your browser on this device. They are not synced to an account. Clearing your browser’s site data removes those preferences.
Contacting the editors
The contact form collects your name, email, submission type, subject, and message. These are stored in a private editorial inbox in Supabase. Authorized editors use them to review your message and respond. Submitting a story does not publish your contact details or automatically publish your work.
Please include only what the editors need. Do not send passwords, student identification numbers, private school records, or sensitive information about other people. If your work features someone else, make sure you have permission to share it.
Spam prevention
The server uses a one-way keyed fingerprint of the connection address to limit repeated submissions. Raw connection addresses are not stored in the submission tables. Rate-limit records older than two days are removed when new submissions are processed. Hosting and service providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Editor accounts
Editor sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth. A verified account must also be authorized for the editorial team before it can access drafts, messages, or publishing tools. Reader access remains open.
Media and external services
Videos may load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Presentation links open in Microsoft OneDrive. Those services handle requests according to their own policies. PDFs and archive videos can be downloaded from this website.
Corrections and data requests
Use the contact form to request a correction, ask about a submission, or request removal of personal information. Include enough context to identify the material, without sending unnecessary sensitive details. The editorial team reviews requests before making changes.
Archive material
The 2023–2024 collection preserves the publication’s original articles and credited contributors. Historical information is labeled by school year. An original publication day is displayed only when it has been verified.
