On August 14, 2023, a new era dawns, with opportunities for growth, enjoyment, and learning. Welcome to APEC Schools New Manila; it’s been waiting for you! Orientation week at APEC Schools New Manila started on August 14, 2023, and ended on August 17, 2023. This event provided students with a valuable chance to forge new friendships, acquaint themselves with the APEC Staff, and explore their passions and interests. General information about APEC Schools, services offered, academic guidelines, and modality information were discussed with students by their class advisers. The class advisers also facilitated engaging icebreaker activities to foster a deeper connection among students. Students were also encouraged to register for the clubs of their choice, enabling them to engage in activities they are passionate about.
The Student Council added a touch of excitement to the orientation week by introducing creative gimmicks, one of which was the “Wear Your Status” event held on August 16, 2023. Students were able to express their feelings and emotions by assigning meanings to a variety of shirt colors:
To further include our pupils and motivate them to express their opinions, the student council also put up a “What’s on Your Mind Wall.” The wall provided an opportunity for students to share their thoughts about the first few days of school and what they wished to happen for this school year. Most of the entries are mixed: some want to have more vacation days, while others are excited to learn and make new friends.
As this new school year unfolds, we are excited to follow every one of you on your incredible experiences and accomplishments at APEC Schools New Manila. Welcome once again to APEC Schools New Manila, where we strive to be #BetterEachDay!
