September 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of APEC Schools. With the recent merger with National Teachers’ College (NTC), NTC and APEC Schools celebrated their anniversary by creating fun activities and competitions. Numerous activities were held all throughout September. They were the Power Dance, Battle of the Bands, Basketball, Volleyball, and APEC Ambassador & Ambassadress. Most of the activities and competitions were won by NTC. However, notable recognitions received by the APEC team include the following:

To feel the Foundation Day spirit in APEC New Manila, the student council and batch representatives organized a gratitude wall and a wishing well for students to participate in.
A word play on the words “wishing wall,” the student council and batch representatives built an improvised wishing well where students can write what they want to happen this school year for a better NTC-APEC community and drop their wishes in the well. They also dressed up as fairies, elves, and other mythical creatures that grant wishes to go with the theme of the wishing well. Students commonly wished for better grades, fruitful friendships, and more events this school year.

Beside the wishing well are 2 sets of the gratitude wall. Students were to list down the things they are grateful for. Most of the entries stated they are grateful for helpful classmates, schoolmates, and staff, their families, and how they still manage to do their tasks despite their numerous responsibilities.

The LFs then installed an exhibit showcasing the events from 2013 up until 2023, from APEC’s humble beginnings to what APEC is today. Photos highlighting the first few branches of APEC, visitations by Ayala and Pearson, and notable meetings were featured up until 2015. Then from 2016 to 2023, photos featuring the start of the operation of the New Manila, extra-curricular events, to awards and projects done outside the school were proudly shown.
APEC Schools New Manila won first place for the exhibit.
