October 5, 2023 — The new academic year started in APEC New Manila. This also includes that we will celebrate a very special event which is Teachers Day once again. But APEC Schools have their own unique way of celebrating it, we don't only celebrate it in one day but in a week. LF Appreciation Week is dedicated to expressing gratitude and appreciation to all of our beloved learning facilitators.
In the week where it is held, we have an activity called Mini Miss and Mini Sir. This activity was organized by the Student Council of APEC New Manila where the participants for this activity will be the ones teaching and supervising the LF’s to give them time to rest since it's their week. Every Learning Facilitator has its own student LF for their shift.
Here are the participants for Student LF’s, for AM Shift we have Heleina Rizel Cuaresma, Arianne Joyce Castro, Antoniette Datu, Jacob Cedrick Tuico, Jaycob Zander Marcelo, Albrei Samantha Santos, Irish Barcelona, Tristan Pagaringan and Zarieal Mante.
For PM Shift participants for Student LF’s include Japeth Bagasbas, Jessica Gumatay, Cesmin Valmonte, Elizabeth Joice Canlas, Yeeshia Coronel, Amedee Aguirre, Seth Taniujara, and lastly, Leona De Chavez.
These students are able to participate and fulfill their responsibilities as student LF’s. Their efforts and hard work in leading a class are highly appreciated. On October, 11. 2023, they are given a certificate of participation as an appreciation for volunteering for this activity.
Of course, our appreciation for our LF’s doesn't stop there. At the end of the day, each classroom here in APEC New Manila prepared a very special surprise for their own advisers. They prepared messages for them and they performed a jamming session to thank their advisers.
It’s been a wonderful moment to be able to see and witness this moment as we saw them laugh and cry with happy tears for our efforts. We’ll always appreciate every moment that we create through the day that we are all together with our LF’s. Their dedication and passion for teaching inspire us to learn and be better each day.
