On February 26, 2023, a program Career Development Week was held at APEC Schools New Manila. Students were able to showcase their career interest as they exhibited the job that they want to pursue in the future, with the help of their efforts for their costumes and props.
Students in grade 12 identified themselves as future teachers, architects, engineers, surgeons, and lawyers, among other professions. By going from room to room, they introduced themselves and shared details about their aspirations, and the motivations behind their chosen careers. Enabling us to learn more about their future visions, which could inspire those students that were able to witness their presentation.
This fun and exciting activity during Career Development Week (CDW) is a good start for students to be proud and introduce themselves to other people, with courage and passion as they talk about their dreams and aspirations.
As they shared their dream careers to us, we were able to observe these students' eagerness for them. Their desire to learn and study in order to achieve it shows that all of their efforts and perseverance will be rewarded in the future.
This will provide motivation to other pupils to dream more about what they want to be. And, hopefully, that dream can turn into reality with the right determination, passion, and motivation. Nothing is impossible as long as you believe in yourself and never give up.
