Araw ng Wika, an event that is held every August, showcases various cultures here in the Philippines. It is variously known as the Buwan ng Wika or Linggo ng Wika, and is usually held in various schools. Having this event not only shows the culture of natives, or katutubo here in the Philippines but also everything that is about them. Here at APEC Schools - New Manila, this type of event can't be missed, and we do it as a class in different sections for each grade level student. This is the type of learning event where in not only the students learn more about the cultures and various things for each katutubo but also helps them in different fields of skills such as group task, creativity, critical thinking and more. Learning and having fun in terms of even and eating along with the class helps develop the class all together in terms of getting to know each other and development of social skills especially since the month of August here in Apec began the official start of f2f classes, so with the help of having this type of events this type of events in really brings each class closer other especially among the new students or transfer students either from other branches of APEC Schools or other schools.

With an event as wonderful as this, what better way for it to be shown than by looking at pictures of the event itself that happened this August. These pictures, taken from each grade level and sections, show the creativity of the students and represent the culture through games, food, talents, attire, and more. In every Araw ng Wika, there will always be a Lakan and a Lakambini which represent each class, and these wonderful attires worn to be showcased, which not only shows the competitive side but also the work of art of it.
